Rose Engine & Ornamental Lathe
The rocking motion is stopped with this linkage when using pumping motion.

This rocking stop control arm is connected when the rocking motion is to be stopped for normal turning functions or pumping only motions. The ends of the control arm linkage have ball joints to allow multiple axis movement.
