Prototype Rose Engine
The rosette cam and rubber.
As the spindle, work piece and the rosette cam turns, the stationary rubber moves the spindle in a rocking motion relative to the shape of the rosette cam lobes.   This rubber has a Teflon impregnated nylon tip to reduce friction.

This Corian rosette cam can be adjusted in 1/4 phase increments in relation to the spindle and work piece.
